This winter I had to replace the section of wire coming from the battery going to the 12V block on the fire wall. (the blue section) The starter had stuck on and got hot enough to melt that section of wire. In its place I had thrown in a radio wire fuse like you see on installs of police cars coming from the batt to the radio. I had placed a 30 amp fork type push-in fuse. Is this a big enough fuse? It blew on me the other day going up to the lake. I carried extras just in case. My headlights were on, blinker, and wipers with brake light waiting at a light. I would like to know if I need a 40 or more or mabe I have a problem to look for. Thanks
