Chuck, I think that is a diode problem, not real expensive if you dont mind repairing the alternator. Also, the one I put the switch in, needs the vachum control for the tranny (the passenger side of fuel pump ) adjusted a tiny bit more. 3/8 bolts on it, loosen and tilt it slightly more towards the rear. It will laten and firm the shifts up a bit.
