Gen Light question

Searched but did not find definitive answer. I read that the two gen lights are actually different bulbs. Presumably with different wattages? Resistance? What is the effect of using the same bulb in both, and what wattages are the G1 and G2 bulbs?

In order to fit instruments in the dash I have relocated the gen lights to a pair of Deuce instrument panel light housings and bulbs, want to make the end result electrically as similar as necessary/possible.

The 194 is the bulb for the GEN2.

The above thread explains the wattage and so on.

The parts manual shows the 194 is used for the GEN2 light and the fuel guage light. All the others are 168s. 168s are ~5w and the 194 is ~3.8w.

Since the GEN2 is 24v that light should be a 194.
