GMV Cargo Rails

I was just curious if anyone knew what the GMV Cargo Rails were made out of, are they just some sort of Aluminum or Steel corrugated sheet panels or are they thicker/heavier than that? I'm looking to build a set and figured I could weld some C-Channel for a similar look if something isn't readily available.

I don’t know about “OEM” GMV side rails, mine are aluminum.
