Going price for M105A2

I am looking at buying a M105A2 trailer. It has no dents or major rust, paint is good, it has staves and bows for the top, wood sides are ok, and the tires are OK. The guy wants $680 for it. Is that a good deal or should I keep looking. Not sure how much I will use it. I have other trailers that suite my needs better, but just thought it would look good in completing the deuce.

I would keep looking. You can find mint m105's with fibergalss sides, bows and a cover for under $500 if you keep your eyes open.

They were going in FL for minimum bid recently.

I think a few hundred dollars, either way from $500, is reasonable and an average retail price. They are great trailers if you want one or need one.

I'd suggest you pass on it if it does not have the adjustable landing gear on it though.

Let's not forget with GL, we need to add on about 18% plus our time and cost to recover, plus wait for some undetermined amount of time.

In my case, a simple minimum bid item, actually costs me around $300-350, to get it home,when you consider time and fuel etc.. You can't sell it for less than what it really costs to get it.

About a month ago I posted about this for someone else that was looking to buy a 105.

The market is flooded with them and will continue to flood with them for awhile. It is a bad time to be a 105 dealer. Remember also stuff in GA is cheaper than in the NE. Even still, I would not pay over $450 for one that has everything, is in really good shape, AND has a title

I just picked on up one from GL in MN (Ripley) that is all complete and functional, with bows and a cover for $225. The tailgate needs some chiropractic work and I'm missing one front/rear rack.

I hate to hijack this thread (but I'm gonna do it), does anyone know where I can get a front/rear rack? I just need one. Otherwise I'll have to make it.

Doghead says it right. Add a couple hundred for me to pick up (I live in SD) and another $60 for a SF97, more titling fees, etc. But I love a GL adventure!

I think everybody here is on track, I could have picked one up the other day with fiberglass bows and really nice cargo cover, no rust that I could find and the tires were 85%or better of 500.00, If I had needed it I couls have probably got him down at least anoterh 50.00 I would try to ge thte guy to come down some or just pass!

I bought one from GL for $330.00 including the GL tithe. My trailer had a comeplete rebuild including, wheels and brakes, glad handles and chains, new fiberglass racks and bows and 11 month old CARC paint. Go the GL route of you have time to spare, besides Obama is gonna need every dollar he can get to pay for health care.

Check GL Redstone...they are selling them in lots of 2 (101's and 105's).

Everywhere else seems to be selling them one per lot.

You might get two for the price of one......you can always sell the springs off the extra to someone doing a bob job.

That's right. I've had several people wanting M105s but I won't buy them to sell. Even if you pay minimum bid you'll have to ask more for it that other people are selling them for just to come out on the deal. I just tell them to look around and find one because it will be cheaper than I could sell one for. To sell a minimum bid trailer and make a little profit you're going to have to ask $500-$600 for it. They just aren't worth that at this time.
