Well, I have succumbed to the green disease. I won a M35A2 a couple of weeks ago and the EUC went off to Battle Creek Tuesday. Some of my friends think I have lost my mind, others think it’s cool. At least my wife hasn’t told me to hit the door. She understands that while most people get into their second childhood as they age; I haven’t gotten out of my first.

Oh well…. I have downloaded the -10 and -20 manuals and am reading up on operation and maintenance. I have been perusing the site for a while and I am impressed with the information and knowledge base here. I also enjoy reading about the projects some members have done and the experiences of others. I’m sure I’ll have questions and it looks like I can find all the answers are here.

I’m looking forward to meeting people as I dive into this adventure. And having a support group for your addiction never hurts.

Cheers,

Ray

Ha-- you say 'over the rainbow'- I say down the rabbit hole w/Alice! We are in the same 'level 2' stage- the holding pattern, awaiting our first EUC.

Best of luck and I hope we get our papers soon- an early part of our '12 steps...'

I can verify the "It starts with one truck..." I bought my first truck and thought "ok, I'm good to go" Then I bought another, well then came one more, I guess there was just one more...wait, how many is that so far?....ahh, almost forgot then I got another. Oh wait, shoot that's right, I'm still looking for just one more.......
The point of the little narrative, it doesn't just stop after one. These trucks are like potato chips. You just can't eat just one....

Sometimes you'll find yourself being creative and you buy a load of wood and "wala" a M105A2 comes with the wood. So for $490 you get a deal with a trailer and wood. The deal equals 2 cords of wood at $150 each equals only $190 for the cool trailer. What a deal. Watch out it creeps up on you like all addictions doroflrofl!!!

Thanks for all the replies and encouragement.

You're right Dave; we'll see how long it takes to get through the red tape. Then the fun begins.
