I went to Ft. Sam Houston to recover some M16 squad bay racks and got to visit my Deuce (the EUC is still cooking) Took some photos and got to hear her run, fired right up!

man,what do you grunts out there do to the sheetmetal of these things?Every hard top is crushed in and I keep seeing truck with smooshed in hoods(mine included!)......Ya'll picking up fat hookers and using the hood?

Fat hookers
man,what do you grunts out there do to the sheetmetal of these things?Every hard top is crushed in and I keep seeing truck with smooshed in hoods(mine included!)......Ya'll picking up fat hookers and using the hood?
I was a "Zoomie Grunt In the AF (I spent more time in the field than some Army grunts) We had hard tops on all our trucks and we shipped our camo nets lashed to their roofs. You put a couple hundred pounds of cammo nets up there and the two big zoomies lifting it...... Well, you are probably starting to get a visual. I noticed the same effect on the roof of my M-292 and (big surprise) that roof leaked big time. That came from spreading the cammo netting out in deployment.
