Gota question or two about the Alts in my M1031

First off, does it matter which side of the motor the alts are placed?
The shop where I had them rebuilt blasted the cases and my scribe lines are gone.
I know should have used a cntr punch!
Also the belts were not on the truck, and from the TM's I can't tell. My guess is
right side/pass to the crank pulley and left side/drvr to the fan pulley.

The alts are both stamped 1105500 100A
The next number 4H6 12V and 4G12 12V is the only difference in the two.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

They are interchangeable as long as both the alternators have ISOLATED GROUNDS. An alternator shop will be able to tell you. The drivers side alternator does Not have to have an isolated ground, but the passenger side MUST.
