Sure looks like a RT-524 to me. With just a single RT-524 I think the configuration would be a VRC-46, which is still in the VRC-12 family of radios.

@DavidB, if it’s not an RT-524, what is it?

He actually has the base in place for the R-422A/VRC receiver which would make it an AN/VRC-47

Good call, I missed it earlier. I think the mount is a MT-1898 for the R-422A.
