Doing a friend a favor. The 4L80E in this CUCV went away. Delivered it to a family member of the owner about 75 miles down the road. Bolts had no issue dragging down the turnpike.

For some odd reason, the 4L80E doesn't last in this truck. 1st one was fried by a faulty controller. Second one was likely builder error. Third went 60,000 or so before it started acting up. Hope he has better luck with this one.

The 4L80E is just a glorified THM 400 with OD and Electrics.
Still should last more than 60,000 mi.
They are very finicky about proper line pressure.
