Half Shaft Question

If I grab the left rear and right front half shaft under my HMMWV I am able to wiggle them left and right about 1/16 to 1/8 of an inch. The boots are not torn. Is this amount of articulation normal or is there some sort of adjustment to make?

Normal.... Lateral play is how they can go up and down in the suspension range without binding. When you take one apart it will become obvious....

Is there any tricks to removing them? My bolts are pretty rusty looking.

Straight forward... Don't strip the bolts.... It will make life just that much harder.

Nord-lock washers 12469426 on the axle or diff side are the way to go. thread lock on the 10mm bolts too.
