A little background. I built a WW2 Weasel and a M151 (first Run #53 ). Did my time from 72 to 75 Army Recon. I have sold the Weasel and was thinking about what is next ? I know the Wife will go through the roof with more "Green stuff".

I'm now working on a Semi RV that never got finished . Long story. Here is a link.

I would like your input on weather this truck is the way to go ? Have 2 bad rotator cuffs ( better now) and I'm getting older. I was thinking the auto trans and power steering, short wheel base mite work. (It would also fit in my drive way ) LOL. I never was a Duce guy but I drove 230,000 + miles in 151's in Germany.

With my Son I have done some Overlanding and was think.(this is what gets me in trouble) I could make a BIG camper ?

Rambling now.:carnac: Sorry. What do you guys think ?

And thanks for the input ! Randy

Not sure how to take this ?
Humor only.

An attempt to answer with a personal opinion, in a humorous fashion, a rhetorical question posted as a thread title.

In no way whatsoever directed to the OP or anybody else but myself.

Sorry for for the inconvenience and it is a nice truck.

Everybody needs a project now and then.

"They" say that there are three secrets to happiness (whatever that is really):

- Someone to Love.

- Something to Do.

- Something to look Forward to.

No guarantees, but this gives you two-out-of-three. Go for it.

It looked like there were a LOT of pieces to that model:

- Trying to gauge the quality of the kit (it looks like pretty fine quality with good detail)

Are the tires for the model made of actual rubber?

Yep,rubber.

I will take some better photos of it. And yes very detailed !

I'm using to get a idea of what I can and can not do with it. Also gives me good idea of how it will be to work on.

I have a Model of my M151 and it is giving me a good idea of scale.

I studied architecture through college, and we always made a scale model of anything we designed on paper:

- It forces you to work out the idea thoroughly in your head.

It's not a bad idea at all.
