Help decoding M37 tag. Anyway to get numbers from that for repaint?

I have a solid great running M37 hardtop no winch. The dash tags are intact, but I can't sand enough paint off to get the numbers to do an accurate repaint letter job. Is there a resource to look up assignment info and get previous lettering info?IMG_2972 (1280x960).jpgIMG_2957 (1280x960).jpg

Welcome to the site. You can try using the "2013 Vin thread" to find your unit assignment from the serial number (vin) on the main data plate, but I can predict that your truck is too old to be in that database. Keep sanding on the hood sides for your Army registration number, and the bumper and bumperettes for your unit assignments. The registration number will also be on the tailgate in the middle.
