Help with leaking zipper on window

I put a new government issue insulated soft top on my deuce and it fits perfect, but the rear plastic window zipper lets water leak in when it rains. Water runs down the back of the cab and seeps through the zipper. I have another top and it has a small flap the goes over the zipper a little that would help I am sure, but the one I have on does not have such a flap. Anyone run into this and how did you stop it if you did? Thanks
