Hello,
I’m replacing all the fuel system hoses on my 1989 M985 HEMTT and I can’t figure out what this thing is… it basically bypasses the Racor primary fuel filter / water separator, having one hose connected to the Racor inlet and the other connected to the outlet. Priming pump? Heater? Relief valve? I could take it apart and figure it out, but I wanted to ask if anyone knows first. The strange thing is that it’s not shown in any TM or MWO that I have. The way it’s scabbed into the sides of the fittings definitely doesn’t look original to me. Thanks…

Regards,
Jon

Wow, THANK YOU!

When I didn't find it in TM 9-2320-279-24P, I assumed it was a modification. Now that I know it's part of STE/ICE, it is indeed in the -24P, under STE/ICE.

So it's only functional when plugged in to the STE/ICE port? It doesn't set off any alarms?

Thanks again, not understanding that thing was really driving me nuts.

Regards,
Jon
