This is a rare opportunity to own a 10x10 HEMTT PLS M1074, this truck is NOT like a typical 8x8 HEMTT - "This is a regular HEMTTs big brother that plays football and works out everyday". As best I know there were less than a half dozen PLS HEMTTs (M1074-M1075) released and current understanding is there will not be any more released. This truck is 65K pounds, with 137K payload capacity, specifically designed for heavy off-road operations. This is a true 10x10 with drive line lock and wheel lockers with CTIS, as this is a last mile logistics supply truck designed to bring supplies anywhere. This truck has a 30ft reach crane, 25K mid vehicle winch (able to pull from Front or Back) and Palletized Load Hook Lift (30-ton capacity). 500 HP 12.1 liter Detroit Diesel engine.
The PLS is a massive increase in capability and payload - The HET (M1070) and the PLS share much of the same drive train. Capable of providing many roles using the Hook Lift and hydraulics to accomplish many tasks in adverse conditions. US Military paid $288K for this truck. Since there so few trucks of this class in the Market and Steel Soldiers requires an Asking Price; so $85,000 is a number I would entertain.
This truck was purchased in 2017, previously it was based at Aberdeen Proving Grounds and only used as a test vehicle. This M1074 has a clean Georgia Title. When I purchased the truck it had 2,500 miles on it still has less than 10K miles, The Cab was replaced with a brand new Cab from a create in 2017. Price Includes a substantial number of extra parts and service items (filters, gaskets, axel, etc.) Also includes a (CHU) Container Handler lifts and flat rack, complete set of new Goodyear AT3 tires (2018 date code or newer) and Towbar.
I have an additional Hook Lift (MK18A1) for the MK48 that I have converted to a Trailer. Intent was to provide the HEMTT with the ability to capture 2 flat racks or Shipping Containers.
