My high idle on the 1009 does not kick down even when warm I have it disconnected until I figure what is wrong with it. The plunger seems to stick you can manually push it back in when the truck is warm is there a way to lube them up or should I be looking for a replacement?

First I would remove it and clean it really well and then give it a try. That's just me. They are not a cheap item if they are still available. Lube it with some oil. Not spray lube.

ACDELCO still makes them and the one I bought last year was made in the USA.
Could also be your temp sensor.
He said he unplugged it and it still done it. That is why I leaned towards clean and lube. It sounds a bit dry and sticky. Happy Holidays. Please report back on your findings.
