Hmmwv LED headlight/turnsignal problem

OK so on my last Hmmwv i put led marker, tail lights and turn signal light. the turn signals would not flash... I figured out a fix for this was was to simply replace the little bulb in the actual turn signal handle with a LED bulb. once I did this everything worked as it should.

Now flash forward to my New Hmmwv.. This time I installed Led Head lights along with all the rest of the bulbs. So this time I have an LED already in the turn signal handle and again No flashing on the turn signals. I take the bulb out of the Turn signal handle (no bulb installed) and they work again. If the head lights are off and just the running lights on then the turn signals work again.

does any one have any info on how to make this work with the total LEDS all the way around?

In the 5 tons you have to update the flasher module sometimes. I think the humvee uses the same flasher part. Maybe you have the older version installed.

You are correct...but it just depends on the mfg of the LED lighting installed...Groat, Trucklite etc..the flasher unit is key.
