Hello,

My department is looking at getting a winch for a M966. Is this possible without a lot of changes to put a military one in? Or are we better off to put a commerical one in? A winch strong enough to handle a vehicle is needed what we are thinking.

The next question is can we put one of those M998 bumpers on a M966?


I plan to sell a pair of military LED headlights on here soon , I got them off of E-bay... the boss likes the halogen ones better.

Look in the classifieds, there is a SS member selling front winches (electric and hydraulic)

Get the winch first and then the front winch plate (bumper) and correct brackets for it, will depend in the type of brush guard if you have it.

Thanks for the information on the winch Ed. Sorry I didn't specify the rear bumper of a M998 to place on a M966 rear end.
