Hood swap made Easy!

Wanted to swap the hood on my 925 with one that was near perfect. "Frankenstein" made quick work of it, even in the 95 degree heat.

Question - is there any type of interface between the M923 hood / front clip, and the M800 series 5 ton cab? I am trying to figure out my next move with the front sheetmetal on my M35-based project, and an M923 front clip would be a nice upgrade.

That's actually a good question and well answered. I've overheard people at rallies incorrectly assume they are the same on quite a few occasions. I've noticed some good deals in surplus for the 900 series vs. the 800 series due to availability of parts and the relatively fewer 900 series in civilian hands.

btw, I'm envious of the knuckle boom also!
