Not sure what your question is.

There are freeze plug types, which simply replace an existing freeze plug. No "nipple" that I know of. You just install it in place of the old freeze plug, then plug it in when you want to heat the block. Here's an example: http://www.amazon.com/Kats-11610-Wa...8145&sr=8-1&keywords=freeze+plug+block+heater

There are also heaters that go inline with one of your heater hoses. That would probably have something like a 5/8" nipple. Looks like that's what you have: http://www.amazon.com/Hotstart-TPS151GT10-000-Engine-Coolant-Heater/dp/B0006NZQQ4

If that's what you have, I don't tihnk it's going in your radiator hose.

Then there are the kind that go in your radiator hose. Here's an example: http://www.amazon.com/Kats-14600-Lo...47&sr=8-1&keywords=kats+block+heater+radiator

I looked at the other block heaters and liked the kimhotstart unit because it has a thermo-stat and its rebuildable, read mixed reveiws on the others, the directions are not vehicle specific and thought maybe someone on here may have installed on a cucv..this one needs input to be low on cooling system then output to heater core to circulate thru-out block, thanks for input guys.

Sounds overly complicated. I have probably $75 total in a block and oil pan heater...absolutely no issues with cold starts. Tried and true, easy to install both. Search my threads if you want to know more.

As soon as I order a Jatonka grille cover, my rig will be artic proof.
