I fail to see the hilarious side of this, but I would look for someone in the classifieds parting out a Deuce and obtain the parts that way.

Heck my brother bumped my deuce into a tree and got the engine running backwards. (After a stall and restart from the tree pushing back.) It took me about half a minute to recognize the problem. My brother was focused on the tranny, he couldn't find reverse, truck kept on going forward! Extra fuel cutoff valve could be part of your anti-theft system too.

The potential for a bump start is why I always leave my 'Engine Stop' pulled out. I also leave it out of gear and the parking brake set, which turns out to be a good thing when you go to the home store & they load the two pallets of rock while you're still in the store. I came out and they were causing the truck to roll forward as they pushed the second pallet on. That could have ended very badly if I hadn't read about this very possibilty here on the forum!
