Are you talking about the hardtops and such being sold on GP? Those are fake.

I meant federal solicitations on FedBiz and such... They must be using them for something if they're looking for bolt on kits.

Thanks for the info. It was news to me. Can't be getting much done for 50 million. Probably to "refurb" them to sell to other countries.
A few years back Northrop gave them a bid for 150k/truck for complete overhaul.
It sounds like funding is getting tight and they're realizing the HMMWV won't be completely "replaced" for a while and they're going to be keeping a lot of them.
