Humvee seatbelts in M1009?

Hi,
Has anyone fitted Humvee three point seat belts in their M1009? I have seen some advertised but the ad is vague about whether they would fit saying that - adaptation to non-Humvee vehicles might require 'some skill'.

Do you need new bolts, will the supplied ones fit? Any advice would be helpful as they look an option to 30 year old original belts.

Thanks :p

I have a set in mine for the exact same reason. The retractor side needs to be opened up a tiny bit for the stock bolt. The female side I used a 90* bend bracket and a grade 8 bolt with washers. It's a very easy "upgrade".

I got mine off a certain popular auction site for $18 a set. Make an offer is a wonderful option.

I installed them in my 1009 about a month ago. I did have to open up the hole like mentioned above and drill one small hole to keep the take up reel from rotating. Both are very simple mods. I like the way they turned out.
