I have a m35a2 1971 am general with a no throttle response problem. Any ideas on what is the fix is? Thank you Jerry.

Mine did that, would just idle. Beating on the injection pump with the throttle applied fixed mine. Maybe you will have similar luck.

I have to ask... What inside the IP had to get bumped enough to start fuel moving?
Just guessing - you were using a nylon hammer or similar?
Dry fuel maybe it needed something with a little lube in it?

Just fishing. Just curious . . .

Nylon hammer? No I have no use for one of those.
These trucks sit around and parts inside the injection pump get sticky.

??? "no throttle response" very clear to me. It runs but when you step on the gas nothing happens. He has a LDT465.

Did you find the trouble shooting part in the TM's?
Did it operate properly before this time or has it always been faulty.
Is all controls attached like as per design?
