Ignition Circuit Overcurrent Protection

Recently purty much rewired my 54 M37.

Just to be safe, I protected the coil/ignition circuit with a 10A fuse to get'r going.

I have driven it quite a bit, but was unloading it yesterday and at idle the 10A fuse blew.

Just looked and "on line" stated that circuit can fun 25A.

Just wondering if I could throw a 20A on that circuit, as I used 12AWG wire when I ran it.

Thanks in advance.
