In the process of doing a 12 volt conversion

Please help!! I am doing a 12 volt conversion and it says to remove the condensor on the passenger side alternator. The question I have is do I reattach the wire after I cut it out? I hope my siginature works I have had problems in the past :x

Remove the condensor, including the short piece of wire that goes to the condensor.
