Hi guys

Anyone know how timing of the IP works?? I just replaced the
hydraulichead, but I doesnt fire up again.

I put the first cilinder at compressionstroke and set the pointer at crankshaftpulley and
the scribe mark at the pointer under the rectangular cover on the IP.
Then I put the hydraulic in with the red tooth at the pointer of the IP behind
the fuel shut off valve.

Any idea what went wrong?? I can start what I want but it doesnt fire up..

Thanks.

thats a relief, but I was thinking could I have done something wrong with fuelshutoff??
I think it only fits one way back in, but is it true?

But I took off one injectorline and gives fuel, it squirts about 1 feet away.
Maybe the hydraulichead is worn..??

At least I could try again with the other hydraulic head that came off, but this one
works only at 5 cilinders. But the engine ran with this one.

There may still be a lot of air in the lines, It will bleed itself out but it takes a lot of cranking. If you have any leaks on the pressure lines it will not fire as you will not build up enough pressure to pop the injectors.

Bleeding didnt help much. I'll put the orginal hydraulic head back on and see what happens then... If it starts up rightaway, then I need a new hydraulic head.

thanks,
