Aces...do you think a Girdle would have prevented this from happening? I have a complete 6.5 in my garage and am about to start the turbo swap myself.... reading this kinda worries me a bit.

Honestly i dont think the turbo did it. I think that cyl has been washed for awhile. God only knows what was done to the truck before I got it.

It had 24 v glow plugs in it when I got it. Some
MorOn actually made little adapters to go
From spade to round to make them work. Needless to say it did not start good
It has probably had ether ised on it many times in it's life before I got it.
