installing a tach on a 86 6.2

TINY TACH !!! 95 bucks.Simple install, very accurate digital display,lighted unit.I really like mine.Updates every 1/2 second.A must I think,if you drive yours on the freeway to monitor rpm's.Google tiny tach.

Truck 1 - Assuming you have a 6.2 M1009 or 08, which one did you get the 6.2 need...DTL-6 or DTL-1/4?

I used the 1/4 " kit for my 1028.
