Hello,
I am installing a winterization kit into a M1008.
The holes are drilled in the firewall for the control cables to go through.
Now, the manual states to install grommets in these holes around the cables.
The grommets won't fit on the cables before installing them as the plugs are larger in diameter than the grommet hole.
So, is the procedure to do the installation and then cut through the grommet just on one side, place it around the cable and then install it on the firewall? I notice the manual also states the grommet are to be sealed with sealer as well.
