Instrument panel mods

Stock hole size I believe 2 1/16 or something like that ?

Patch the holes in the lower panel section then redrill new ones.
I spot welded around the patches and used JB weld as filler. I then painted using a fine bed liner spray for texture and then painted over with OD.

I did paint the back of my panel white in addition to adding another instrument light, it is now very bright at night !

You've got to have a cup holder !
i took you advise and i am adding another light and painting the back of the dash panel glossy white. i am putting together a new panel so i can just unbolt the other one and swap the gauges out and put it back together.
