interesting use of a deuce

so i was out on one of the country roads the other day and i happen to pass this field were a farmer was harvesting his corn and i had to do a double take of one of the grain trucks it was a deuce minus the deuce bed what do you guys think? oh yeah is it just me or does it look like the frame has been lengthened? i wonder how much he would sell it for or if he still has the original bed

I think that was the long wheel base version. Here in Ga some Vidalia sweet onion growers put side dump bodies on them to bring the onions out of the field.

Farmers use them all over NY in the onion fields, they like the gassers, or Multifuels with gas trannys in them cause the speeds in the field match the onion harvestors better. They stretch M35s to as close as possible to the M36 wheelbase so they can use M36 driveline parts in them. AND..... There is one BIG farm in Western NY that has many deuce field trucks and he mounts a third drive axle in the rear just ahead of the tandems, he says the trucks float on water, almost!!!!!!! Necessity is the mother of invention. Whatever we think of to do to a deuce, someone else already has done, JT
