I remember reading in a few posts awhile back that internal/external tooth washers were difficult at best to find. Upon perusing my new Fastenal Catalog, I find they have these items in sizes #6 to 5/8". I distinctly remember our electrical Guru (Bjorn) questioning availability.

RE: washers

Right Wayne, and with the help from Will Wagner, Kenny, ACE and others, I ended up with a pile of them. :)
To be truly paint penetrating, they need to be hardened and cad-plating seems to last longer than zinc, so mil-spec it is....

McMaster-Carr has #6 thru 3/8, but at $1.40 per 3/8's washer it will be awhile to get the full complement on the m37 and m43. I'll have to check out Fastenal.

I bought the Military yellow zinc internal/external toothed washers in two sizes for the wiring of my trailer's tailights, and cable ground.
They came from an airplane parts company in texas. I will go through my files later and pull the name & tel # of the company if anyone is interested.
