Here's a tip, I was taking one of the dumps from gainsville to cocoa last month and there is a little 1/4 inch cloth braided oil line about 6 inches long that runs behind the fuel injector pump on the 465 1a. Check it regularly! It burst in Ocala and dropped approx 6 gallons of oil on the grond in a matter of seconds. Before I could get off the road and shut it down the rods bearings were knocking. It went back to gainville under tow. Check this hose. if there is a slight fuel leak on it it may break down faster.
I think this is important enough to show in detail. The oil line is shown in the images below. It connects to the fitting labeled "B" in the second picture.

I spoke with the guys at memphis equipment about an oil leak I was having on my IP and he told me they had only sold about 3 of these lines that he could ever remember.

That's 'cause you can make it probably alot cheaper than Memphis sells it for. It's only a 1/8 NPT on 1 end and #4 swivel on the other end.

The return for a bypass filter should be returned directly to the crankcase. Flow thru the filter isn't enough to be put back directly to a component that needs pressure and flow. Damage to the component will occur.
