IP Removal?

1-Line up the timing marks on the harmonic balancer.
2-Make sure the the line on the disk is lined up with the tooth at the IP's advance unit. (4 bolt window in front of hydraulic head.)
3-Pull front valve cover and make sure your rocker arm is loose. That means you are on the right stroke.(If not, rotate motor once more)
4-Pull off IP.

I watched you vid. Just give me a call. 352-262-0398 soooo much easer that typing. In most cases you don't need to replace the whole IP just the head if that is what is wrong.

Hey gimpyrobb, Im about to replace the IP on my truck and when you say make sure the rocker arm is loose, which cylinder and rocker arm are you refering to?
