IP throttle shaft leak fuel drainback?

Yes it will. Anywhere it gets air will cause it to drop the fuel prime. Anywhere. The entire fuel supply system must be air tight.

Excellent. Make sure you mark the advance cam so you put it back on the throttle shaft in the exact same spot. There is a KD tool made for it that references the cam to the crosspin in the throttle shaft. You can make one out of epoxy putty.

Also make sure you place the top back on the pump correctly as to not have a wide open throttle runaway. Have fun!
