Is this body worth saving.....or rare

I have this telephone service body. Planning on scrapping it. A guy told me it is uber rare. What say you wc guys

Need to see the fuel filler area. People think these are mil because the Bell System phone trucks of that era were olive drab.

It sure does look like the bed off the WC59. Google WC59 and look at the pics. I would say it is worth something. You would think someone would want it, but finding that someone may take awhile.

I agree, looks like that. If someone doesn't claim it before Saturday it is scrap yard bound. I was going to take it this week, waiting for a commited buyer who fell through. I am about done trying to save stuff for people that is not my kind of stuff. It just slows down progress.

Because I was trying to be nice and offer it to the right collector at scrap metal price , smarta**!. I only wanted someone to commit to it. I don't have the situation to store my kind of stuff, let alone somebody else's. I will go home in the morning and mash it flat and take it to the scrapyard, to as not to bother you 1 post members!

Let me start over. I had already wasted a few days waiting on a taker. I am probably shorter fused than usual on this item. Obviously, if scrapping was my only thought, I would have done it without this post. I just figured it would find a home faster?

Like Warthog pointed out, if you want to get the word out on this list the post would have to be here longer than 21 hours or so. It might even be better to put it in the classifieds and put a scrap price on it. I can't imagine it weighs that much.

wished I was still in NC, I would have snatched that up last year to stick on my M116 as I start converting it to a camping trailer...
