Trying to get insurance for the M1078 truck in the state of Maryland. The truck will eventually be an RV. Geico does not insure the truck. Anyone in Maryland knows how to go about this? TIA.
btw.... "commercial" insurance has nothing to do with "commerce" least not any more. Maybe it did decades ago.. but now it is only a weight/size category
AFTER you convert to RV (following Maryland definition of RV) you "may" be able to change title and get cheaper insurance too. Every State different
oh.... and this thread will get axed..... there is a rule in here NO insurance discussions. see sticky at top of this forum about insurance. It will have most any other question you can think of already answered in it.

@coachgeo and @simp5782: Gentlemen, thanks for the heads up. Feel free to move my post.
Called Progressive Ins, they confirmed that we can get insurance from them. I need to gather more info on the vehicle before they can give us a quote. Thank you folks.
Progressive commercial gave us a quote of $450 a year, not bad at all. They also said that if we are modifying the vehicle and not driving it, we can deactivate the liability, it will only cost us $5 a month.
