Yes, regular incandesant headlamps emit a great deal of heat energy.
During a good storm I will have giant icicles form under my headlamps from the melt off and re-freezing when the water moves away from the heat off the lamp.

i love mine LED headlights. i have only been running them for about a month or two but they are great at night. both of these pictures are just the low beam. on ebay you can find them from 200.00 to 300.00 a pair some are new and some are used so read carefully. you need the 24 volts for a deuce.

WOW, that for sure is bright ... I wouldn't mind buying a used pair. Is there a prominent difference between 12v and 24v?
how could I tell them apart? and can I use 24v on a 12v system?

Just search "7" led" on ebay. tons of 12volts on there
