left column too big

What happened this morning? I could not get SS to come up and now the left column is so big, I have to scroll to the right to see all of the screen.

I see what caused it, the chat link on the left. I clicked the "-" next to the chat link, and all is well. Browser = Google Chrome

Well its a temp fix for chat, I can deal. I too use chrome but I dont have to scroll anywhere but down.

You can "close" the chat link by clicking on the " - " sign in the top right corner of the link box.
