Link belts

Has anyone tried using link belts on their cucv? The ones you make to the length you want and can go on without removing the other belts?

I use them on machinery, no reason not to try it out on a truck.

If you read the manufacturers information, they are for temporary use or slow speed use.

As a temporary fix, sure, try it.

At $4-5/ foot, I'll just stick with stock belts.
