LMTV: Oil leaking out of rear differential vent hose

Diff fluid is leaking out of my rear differential vent hose. I'm surprised about how much has leaked out. The hose is mounted about 18" above the diff but it's still leaking out. Any ideas about what's going on?

You probably over filled it

Pull the fill plug on the back of the chuck and see how much fluid is in there. It should be about half an inch below the plug hole.
