My neighbor's son decided he wanted to go to his Sr. Prom in the LMTV. Who was I to say no?

It's weird they were telling me I guess having a date to the prom is unusual now - kids mostly just show up in groups. What's that about?

I did something similar years ago with my first Deuce. My friend's niece asked for a ride to prom in the Deuce, and of course I wasn't going to turn her down! She didn't have a date either (which I don't get). However, one of her cousins was active duty Army and happened to be home on leave at the time. We all rode in the Deuce to the hotel where prom was held that year. I waited at the main entrance with the truck while the cousin (in uniform) escorted her inside to prom.
