What are you calling a "Day Tank"? A day tank is a small container that has max a gal fuel in it and a float switch to refill or cut off the set before it runs out of fuel.

I have a mep-804 and the day tank will not fill if i manually fill it the unit will run until level drops
I'm talking about the small probably have gallant tank where the floats sit in I don't hear either of the electric fuel pumps going on I'm trying to figure out where I should start the float switch seems to work in 2 positions so I don't think it's that but the 2 electric pumps are not turning on I'm trying to see if anybody has experience with this someone told me it may be a board but I'd rather look for the simpler fixes 1st thanks

Thought so. Now, what do you mean by " manually fill it".

If the tank will not refill, first insure the 3 way fuel valve is in the SET position. Then, is it still will not fill up, You need to look at the fuel pumps and then the FL1 & FL2 fuel float.
