If I wanted to add a low oil indicator to my 1008's oil pan, would the same sensor as is used in the radiator's low coolant setup work? Does anyone have suggestions for this mod?

All cars and trucks from at least the mid 90s have them the sender is the same type but I would stick to the low oil sender find a fuel injected v8 truck at a scrap yard to get what you need. For the work and time to install and then to trust it will work when you need it I think the dip stick check would be the way to go no guess work![thumbzup] Beside drill a hole in the side of pan now you have another place to leak oil remember this is a high harmonic engine.
