Low Oil Pressure M35A3

Pressure runs about 10-15 lb at idle, and 30 lb full speed. Should read 35-70lb. Doesn't seem to have caused a problem to date but it's just been identified.

Has anybody seen this problem previously with the A3?

Are the A3 oil gauge and sending unit the same as the standard M35 deuce?

the tm states the oil pressure is to be 35psi or higher . if not , the vehicle is NMC. i dont think the sending unit is the same, but i don't have one here to make the comparison.. it could also be a short or the wire is frayed. had a similar problem with me truck.. terminal was loos and kept sending weak signals to the guage.

Check it with a RELIABLE mechanical guage.

Your guage or sending unit could be defective.
