12/24 volt electrical system - two 12v batteries connected in parallel, connected in series to a 3rd 12v battery to make 24v.

Where does the cable in the blue circle connect? It's obvious that it is part of the 24v circuit, since it's going to the location of the 3rd battery. One tag near the right alternator says that it is "alternator to negative." Another tag says "do not ground."

I have reviewed the documents (they are not TMs, but commercial device manuals), but it's still not clear to me, other than the cable in question is in the 24v charging circuit. The cables circled in red are coming from the 12v positive side of the dual 12v batteries and connect to the negative post of the 3rd battery (one side of 24v side of circuit). The cables circled in yellow connect to 24v positive post of the 3rd battery (other side of 24v side of circuit). None of these cables had terminal boots on them when we received the truck. Any guidance is welcomed. Thanks.
