LTD 465 IP fuel hook upi

I look and could not find any info so here it goes, need to get the engine start it before i remove it from a truck that we are scrapping and have a few parts for sale, fuel tank is gone and some where down the line the filters where removed, so i have a a remote tank and filters to hook up to the IP, do i go direct to the the IP head or do i need to go to where the main fuel line use to come in from the tank under the pump where then it comes out to the IP head, any help will be great ......

Fuel goes to the IP first and the pressure gets boosted for a trip through the last two filters, then back to the IP into the HH and on to the injectors.

Ok great , will feed the bottom of the pump with my tank and filter then from there to the HEAD, i figured fuel going to the bottom of the pump had a purposed , so there most be type a internal booster pump, thank you for the info......
