Hey Guys, I went to lube my air pack on the old girl today, and couldn't get the allen plug out. I checked the threads in the search box, but didn't have any luck. Does anyone know of another place to introduce the oil into the air pack ?

You can take the J pipe(air tube) off and put it in there.

Thanks Dabtl and Doghead, Since I haven't torn one of the air packs apart yet I wasn't sure if they both led to the same chamber. Once again the Steel Soldiers Boys come to the rescue.

Thanks,

Old Grunt

P.S. Doghead I hope to see you and Mrs. Doghead at haspin this year, sounds like we could have a record crowd.

The air packs are not complex. I always loosen the plug on the air packs I have rebuilt. It kind of makes you wonder how they were serviced in service.
